A professor at Duke wants to eradicate the term paper and replace it with blogs. In fact, her assignments now consist of 500-1500 word essays submitted as blog posts, instead word-processed papers. These assignments are intended to keep students involved in reading the required material for class in a way that doesn't seem antiquated or overwhelming.
